For the third consecutive year the BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert and BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS occur together with factory support by BMW Motorsport on the Nordschleife.
BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert
Since 2003 the team of team boss Torsten Schubert is year after year in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife at the start. Since 2012, the team can count on factory support from BMW Motorsport.
Schubert Motorsport fights in many different racing series for victories and trophies. 2014 joined the team from Oschersleben in the VLN Endurance Championship, the ADAC GT Masters, in the Blancpain Series Sprint and at various 24-hour classics. At the race on the Nordschleife, the BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert came in sixth place finish.
Marriage, Schubert Motorsport specializes in long-distance races, the team from Oschersleben celebrated successes in touring car racing, as in the German Touring Car Challenge (DTC) and in the German Production Car Championship (DPM). In the 2011 season Schubert Motorsport attended several times a sensation and won the 24-hour race in Dubai and Barcelona.

The BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS was in 2013 for the first time with factory support from BMW Motorsport on the Nordschleife at the start. After a strong second place at the premiere in 2014 the Belgian team was unlucky. 2015 follows the third start with BMW factory support in the "Green Hell", in which they are fighting again around the square at the top of the podium.
Marc VDS Racing is at home both on four and two wheels. In addition to its presence in GT racing Marc VDS will also start in the Moto2 and Moto3 motorcycle world championship. The acronym VDS stands for the surname of the founder Marc van der Straten. He leads the team together with race drivers Bas Leinders who acts as team manager for the GT-Sport, and Michael Bartholemy, who is responsible for the motorcycle sector as a team manager. Seat of the racing team founded in 2009 is Gosselies.
2012 put Marc VDS Racing for the first time the BMW Z4 GT3. In the Blancpain Endurance Series, the Belgians celebrated successes from the outset. The three drivers Bas Leinders, Maxime Martin and Markus Palttala won the first two races of the season. Until the finale, the trio fought for the title, but had to surrender, albeit marginally. At the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife 2013 proved Maxime Martin, Andrea Piccini, Yelmer Buurman and Richard Göransson their class and reached the BMW Z4 GT3 with the number 25 ranked second. In the Blancpain Endurance Series the team won the team title in the same year. 2014 gave it the home race, the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, to second place.
