Geneva Motor Show 2015: Lotus Evora 400

Lotus Evora has revealed completely birthday approaching Geneva Motor Show next week. Aims to revitalize the sale of Lotus' Evora 400 is a great birthday though most cars look the same as before.
The '400' is derived from the name of the new power output of the 3.5-liter supercharged V6 - now makes 400 bhp, quite a leap from the previous 345 bhp. With pavement weight 22 kg lighter corresponding performance increase; 0-62 mph takes 4.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 186 mph. Increased electric machine thanks to a supercharger larger, more efficient intercooler and improvements to the ECU. Action shifting six-speed manual gearbox has been enhanced while an optional six-speed automatic gearbox has a sporty shift strategy.
The most visible change in the Evora 400 is styling with a new body. Add a new nose larger intakes and vents with new DLR and grille mesh. Got a new rear diffuser with a 3-inch diameter exhaust and rear wing 3 new parts, while the wheels are new designs and lighter than the old item. We do not believe the new styling is an improvement totality. More aggressive, but have lost the beauty of Evora old and we were worried it would be a date quickly.
Although not directly visible, some of the most important changes is actually under the skin and inside the Evora 400. Access has always been a problem as the Evora share bonded aluminum chassis design with Elise and Exige models, which meant it was very spacious and with high sills. This makes it very awkward getting in and out, which actually hamper chances against the Porsche Cayman. Well now frame 43 mm thinner and 56 mm lower, which means that access should be massively improved. There is a new dashboard also displays improved ergonomics and design.
